I would like all the available options/packages/deals on Valentine’s Packages. It will be my one year anniversary with my significant other on February 14, 2011. I would like to know if the Valentine’s Package was available for February 4, 5, and 6. It would be a two night stay. I would like to know the costs of anything and everything. I would really like to make this a memorable anniversary and getaway because we are both extremely busy and need romantic time together.

Hi Miashia,

At this time, I don’t have a specific package that’s just for Valentine’s, but we offer lots of romantic packages, or if you’d like to customize a package just for the two of you, we have lots of romantic add-ons to make your stay special. Since I’ve had a couple requests for a Valentine’s Package though, check back in a couple days and I’ll put something together :)

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, Miashia. If you book now, our pricing for September will be the same as it is now. Also be sure to check out our honeymoon packages!

Bye,
Carol

Hi Carol,
I know all of your suites are different from one another, but I need a sugestion from you. I want somethng with a fireplace AND a whirlpool for two people. And something not too frilly. And I don’t care if its at the Bandb or the other one. Do you get the same extras at both places? Thank you Rodg

We recently got a gift certificate for the Lazy Cloud for a wedding present and we cannot wait to use it!! However we are having a hard time deciding what time of year to use it. We are very active and love being outside. But we also think the Lazy Cloud could be very quaint and fun in the winter. What would you suggest?

Rod January 22, 2011 at 4:21 am

What is the extended continental breakfast at the B&B? Thanks

caroltiff January 24, 2011 at 1:30 am

The extended continental breakfast at the B&B consists of many items. You have the choice of pastries — our delicious homemade sticky pecan buns, Kringle, and fresh baked banana nut bread. A variety of fresh fruit. Hot homemade apple crisp. A selection of cereal for those that want it, and our Granola is made in the kitchen. Bagels with cream cheese. Hard boiled eggs. And to compliment the breakfast you get fresh brewed coffee, choice of juice, hot chocolate or tea.
It’s yummy!! —- Carol

In my opinion I think the winter is a beautiful time of year in this area, not to mention you are able to make the most of the whirlpool and fireplace while enjoying the beauty of the snow outside. If you like to watch the deer, they are also out more in the winter. The area has a lot of fun and romantic things to do during the winter such as sleigh rides, carriage rides, sledding, and ice skating. Then there is also winter festival in Lake Geneva this runs from 1/31-2/6. It’s a lot of fun to watch the snow sculptors working. And you can help choose a winner by voting. Of course, the shops are opened so there is always shopping in stores in downtown Lake Geneva, with a little less traffic then in the summer.

But during the summer months there is plenty to do in the area or on the grounds at Lazy Cloud. Our flowers are in bloom, the outdoor games and hammocks are all set up for use. If you venture into Lake Geneva, you can take a boat tour, shop, or take a carriage ride. At different times there are festivals, art shows, market days, or many other events depending on the date.

I know it’s a hard decision, but you’ll a great time regardless when you visit!

Hi,

All of our rooms and suites have whirlpools for two with a view of the fireplace at both the Inn and the Bed and Breakfast.

You asked about less frilly rooms – I would say pick from the following: Stone Grotto at the Inn (No TV), Rendezvous at the Inn (No TV), Blue Moon at the Inn (with TV), Dream Catcher at the Inn (with TV) or Paul Newman at the B&B (no TV), Northwoods at the B&B (No TV) and the Log Cabin at the B&B (no TV).

As for amenities, enjoy a complimentary caramel apple pie for two or chocolate covered strawberries and your bottle of wine or champagne. Also hot chocolate, cappuccino and microwave popcorn are in your room. All of the extras are the same except the breakfast is an extended continental breakfast. At the Inn your breakfast will be waiting in the refrigerator in your suite – jumbo muffins, pastries, and orange juice with a coffee pot and coffee supplies already in the room.

Feel free to call us or go on our Live Chat line if there is anything else we can answer for you.

Carol
